ade architecture were commissioned by the clients to help them extensively remodel the rear of their home and garden.
The project brief was to replace the existing glass conservatory with a new two storey brick extension and to ensure clear views to the garden (previously too high to be seen from the kitchen). This was achieved by raising the internal level of the kitchen and creating split levels within the garden.
To ensure outstanding levels of natural light, the house features a large structural glass roof light, and a 4-metre high metal and glass screen, facing onto the garden. The house also features a decorative structural column and a bespoke handmade kitchen.
