Our clients bought this property with the express intention of applying their own personal stamp to create a beautiful home for their growing family. The existing house, with the exception of the front and side façades, was completely demolished and the internal spaces were rebuilt to create 5 well-proportioned bedrooms, including a spacious master suite. We also designed a full footprint basement (essentially a lower ground floor), comprising of a large family room, home office, gym, wine cellar and a guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The two well-considered rooflights and the large panelled glazing, to the rear facade, ensure that the lower ground floor is flooded with natural light.
Working with both the clients and Colour Interiors, we were able to create a well planned and cohesive layout. The spectacular double height space at the rear, with 6-metre-tall doors, leads on to a beautifully landscaped courtyard and garden.
