This project utilized the Prior Notification route, avoiding the Householder Planning Application process.
A new side extension, enabled us to create an open plan kitchen, dining and living area.
To ensure good levels of natural light to the rear of the house (and especially the middle reception room), a structural glass rooflight runs the full length of the new extension.
To create seamless connectivity between the garden and the new open plan interior space, we specified floor to ceiling minimal framed glass sliding doors and a tiled floor finish running internally and externally. The garden effectively becomes an outdoor room.
